About the open houses

Central Lakes College is looking for a local business or operator to provide food services on campus in the future. Before the college releases a formal Request for Proposals this spring, we want people to see the space, ask questions, and decide if it might be a good fit.

The open houses are simply a chance to walk through the cafeteria and kitchen, understand what’s available, and learn how the process will work. There’s no obligation. It’s about giving local businesses a clear look so they can make an informed decision about whether to submit a proposal later.

The North Central Small Business Development Center is partnering to provide no-cost, professional business consulting to interested small business owners. The consulting will focus on putting together financial projections and walking through the Request for Proposal process.

The Brainerd Lakes Area Economic Development Corporation (BLAEDC) and the Staples Area Chamber of Commerce are helping to promote this opportunity throughout the region.
